Thanksgiving
Topic: Giving Thanks
Well, it's Thanksgiving again.
I have much to be thankful for; not so much for things, but for my family and friends.
I can be a hard person to have any type of relationship with. I am very tempermental, and I can go long periods of time without keeping in contact with people; so my family and friends are understanding..completely.
I am also thankful that I have strength, not just physical, but inner strength, to deal with the everyday problems in life.

Topic: Pet Peeve - 1
I have not written here in about a week, so I figured that I would pick up where I left off.

My absolute, #1 pet peeve is inconsiderate people
Now, I am not one to preach, and whatever people want to do with their bodies, as long as they are not hurting others, is their business; but smokers can be inconsiderate "fucks."
Smokers will stand in front of a building and smoke, and basically it's like "fuck you if you don't smoke, I'm killing myself and everyone around me." Like I said before, if you want to kill yourself, more power to you, but you are fucking with my life now.
Secondly, the inconsiderate people who can't park their vehicles (especially SUV drivers), and put these vehicles in multiple spaces; basically saying "fuck you if you need a space, I am so much more important than you!" You're not more important you just are an inconsiderate fuck, who needs to realize your not living on this planet by yourself.

That's all I really want to say for now, just try and think of how what you do will affect others, before you do it.

Topic: Things that irritate me
I just need to write down certain things that irritate me; now this will be short, because if I were to rant about all the things that irritate me, I would be writing a novel.

I hate when people I don't like, which is an extensive list, always hang around me, and are clingy. I don't like clingy people.

You notice that people with bad breath are always the ones that want to stand closest to you when they talk.

I hate the way my boss needs to keep his desk clean, which is not the problem, but then he proceeds to sit there and prop up papers on his desk; even with my headphones on, I hear this ALL DAY LONG!

Finally, I hate(pardon the language),"wiping other people's asses," what I mean by that is, for instance you are at your job, doing Your work, and somebody else is not pulling their weight; I'm tired of not only having to do my job, but make sure that my work does not suffer because of them.

One day I will dedicate at least a week to my pet peeves which like I said, is extensive.

That's all for now.

Now Playing: Do you know what DL stands for?
Topic: Women
I love women. I love so many things about women, some of which I cannot talk about here.
One issue I have with women, is that they don't know how to keep "your" secret. They will keep their secrets forever, but if you say, "don't tell anyone," you can be guaranteed the next call is to their girlfriend/friend, and your business is all out there.
Men are the same, but men will not use your name, they will say, "this guy that I know..."

Ladies, do you understand what the down-low(DL), or the quiet-tip(QT),is?
Now I'm not angry, I use to get angry, but now I just put stuff out there to test my female acquaintances and friends; I don't tell them stuff that I really want to keep quiet, just stuff that everyone could know, just to see if they can keep it quiet.
Finally, I love the ladies, I just won't tell you anything important; that's why when you ask men, "what are you thinking?" we just say "nothing!"

Topic: N.Y. Mets new Manager
I'm a die-hard Yankees fan, I always have been; but it was nice to see the Mets hire Willie Randolph. The media will talk about how he is the first African-American to manage a New York baseball team, and that's fine; but for me it's even more personal than that.
He and I are from the same area, and sometimes people in that neighborhood are thought of as "wastes," or pigeon-holed into, "they will only be drug dealers,or they will do nothing positive with their lives." Willie is positive man and has never been in any type of trouble with the law.
I watched him play throughout his career, and have always had the utmost respect for the man.

Unfortunately, he manages the enemy, and I cannot root for his team; but I will root for his success and that hopefully, one day in the far off future, he could be the manager of the Yankees.

Topic: Election Reform
Well the election is over, and personally, don't feel any better than I did yesterday.
Some of the "experts" were talking about election reform, but I feel that before we start to change the way we go about the election, we need to change the criteria to be a politician.
We don't need self-serving people, who think of what is right for them, and the special interest groups that put money into their campaign, or more specifically into their pockets.
Now I'm not saying that Nader is the answer, but Americans need to be more informed before they choose a candidate because they have an (R) or a (D) before their names.
Personally, none of the candidates spoke to me. I guess that I am so cynical at this point, about politics that it does not matter.
What we need are some regular people, who can't get the money together to run for public office; for commercials, and huge campaigns.
Notice that every candidate has money and makes more money with the "incentives" of being a politician, than they even make salary wise.

This is where the change needs to be made first.
We need a complete overhaul of what we do in campaigns and how we choose someone for President.

I will say that the sick feeling I have in my stomach after our election, is worst than four years ago, because it seems we have not learned anything in four years.

Now Playing: Election 2004
I usually don't like to talk about politics, but I wanted to make an exception for Election day.
I chose not to vote this year, because frankly I don't think that any of the candidates will be much different from the others, with the exception of Nader, but we know he won't win.
I feel that everyone who has a real chance to win, has their own agenda; and if a truly honest individual ran for President, and won, they would probably be corrupted by all the power.."absolute power corrupts absolutely."

No matter what the candidates say, they all have their own agenda, and will help "their own" first, before anyone Else's.

I know who I am rooting for, but I don't have any real enthusiasm about it.

Please feel free to comment on this.

G4Techtv
Now Playing: A mini tirade
About a year and a half ago I started to watch Techtv, and I loved it. I liked the fact that they had two shows that helped you with technology which was "Call for help", and "The Screensavers," also that they had shows like "X-Play" for gamers.
But, now that G4 (a cable network failing at the time) has taken over, they got rid of "Call for help," and "The Screensavers" is a shell of its former self; they have made G4Techtv a gamer network, which is why G4 was failing in the first place.
I love to game, but how many gaming shows can you put on the air, before it's just too much.
Some of you will say, "there are other shows on G4Techtv," that's true, but who really watches "Robot Wars?"; I hate that $#?! show.

Please comment, I would like some feedback on this.

My first blog
Now Playing: Just my thoughts
I have thought about blogging for a while, but now is the time.
I just want to use this to get some of my thoughts out there;in case others share my opinion, or not.
I blog the way I think, different topics, and kind of all over the place.
Always feel free to comment on anything I say, whether I will like it or not; but know this, I reserve the right to comment or "spit fire" if I see fit.

These are just my thoughts:

Can we stop seeing commercials and news stories about the Redsox?
Yes, I am a Yankee fan, but I do understand the significance of the Redsox win; but I am so over it already. Let's move on.

I'm not happy at/with my job. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I'm putting it out there.
I have had many jobs, and I have yet to find something that truly makes me "happy."
Now I know that happiness is a relative thing, but I haven't found anything that gives me the facade of happiness.
I did have a job once that I was happy with, but then I was laid off, with the company eventually going "belly up." That sucks!
